Mission
MedicalAutomation.org is a non-profit organization
that has been organized to better inform all health care
consumers about new health improvements and cost
saving technologies. Medicine has always involved the
pairing of knowledge and technology in the diagnosis
and treatment of patients. Physicians of the twenty-first
century have at their disposal an overwhelming
abundance of new technologies, however the challenge
now becomes how best to select and implement the new
technologies for effective and efficient patient
treatment. |
 |
The mission of MedicalAutomation.org is to provide a
forum for the exchange of information on new medical
technologies, particularly those involving the
automation of medical procedures.
This year’s conference theme “Vital Signs: Saving Lives, Cutting Costs” will focus on
technologies that have demonstrated a positive return on investment and/or significant error
reductions - wireless, robotic, computer, and informatics technologies and devices, as well as,
processes that revolutionize the integrated delivery of medical care. In addition, the
conference will also highlight topics that describe the growing outreach and telemedicine
paradigm for health care delivery, wellness, and preventative medicine and how they will
yield significant savings to our rapidly aging population. |
