Brian Cohen's bio:

Brian A. Cohen, PharmD, MS, RPh is Director of Pharmacy Services at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He received his PharmD from the University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Pharmacy Administration from the University of Kansas. He completed a two-year ASHP accredited specialty residency in Pharmacy Practice Management at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Prior experience includes being the Pharmacy Financial Manager at KU Medical Center, Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and Inpatient Operations Manager at the Harris County Hospital District in Houston, TX.

Brian has been an active member of professional organizations, including most recently serving as the Treasurer of the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists, on the Metroplex Society of Health-System Pharmacist Board of Directors, ASHP Council of Administrative Affairs, the ASHP Practice Managers Section Advisory Group on Leadership Development and the Section Advisory Group on Electronic Communication. Additionally, Brian served as the Gulf Coast Society of Health-System Pharmacists Treasurer and Web Page Programmer and Designer. He also served on the ASHP Student Forum Executive Committee, Chair of the Student Programming Committee and first Chair of the TSHP Student Section. Additionally, Brian has contributed to the profession by presenting several posters and publications.
